He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Retta;
Children: Paul and Karen Dixon, Helen and Clayton Peck, David Dixon, Marion Dixon;
Step-sons Corey Hobbs and Brandon Hobbs;
Grandchildren: Isabella, Ava, Reed, Connor, Taylor, Kayla, and Liam;
Step-grandchildren: Michael, Jacob, Austin, Alexis, and Christian;
Brother Clarence Dixon Jr.;
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial with military honors will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery on July 29, 2019, at 12:00pm.
