David Jon Morren

David was the youngest of four children born to James and Joyce Morren on August 30, 1967, in Zeeland, Michigan. David attended Zeeland Schools and graduated class of 1986. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves. Throughout his life, David pursued his love of driving and worked as a semi-truck driver. He was most recently employed at DSA International as a Hilo driver. David met his wife, Melissa, at Huizenga Food Market through Melissa’s father, and they recently celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on June 23. David was a member of Community Reformed Church in Zeeland.

David was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joyce (Wolters) Morren; in-laws James and Grace (Quakkerlaar)Teasley.

David is survived by his wife, Melissa (Teasley); children Megan & Andy Steffens and Jacob Morren; Five Grandchildren Serenity, Victoria, Caleb, Isaiah and Adelyn; Brothers and Sisters, Kim & Mike Klaasen, Doug & Carol Morren, and Dan & Rachel Morren; Brother and sisters-in-law Eric Teasely, Steph & Ross Irnholt; Ross & Ellendea Teasely; Jim Teasely; and Tammi Smits; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be 11:00am Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St., Zeeland. Rev. Greg Ten Brink and Rev. Kurt Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery

The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 5-8:00pm and also from 10:00am until the time of the service on Wednesday at Community Reformed Church.
