Elmer Alvah Zoet

Elmer was a member of Overisel Christian Reformed Church, where he had served as an Elder and Deacon. Elmer was a farmer for his entire life.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl in 2007; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jarvis (Hazel) Zoet.

Elmer is survived by his children Wanda and Wayne Slenk of Holland, Arlyn and Carla Zoet of Hamilton, Ron and Elaine Zoet of Holland, and Judy Vander Ploeg of Holland; nine grandchildren, Julie (Buddy) Cain, Dan (Courtney) Lubbers, Jennie (Jon) Dykstra, Jeff (Monica) Zoet, Jeremy (Kim) Zoet, Jason (Shelby) Zoet, Jill (Toby) Parsons, Stacey (Scott) Lubbers, and Katie (Andrew) Gent; 26 great grandchildren; sisters, Lois (Gerrit) Schierbeek and Shirley (Jay) Hop; special friend Pearl Becksfort; many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Overisel Christian Reformed Church, 4738 142nd Ave., Holland with Rev. Steve Mulder officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 11-1pm prior to the service at Overisel CRC.
