Helen J. Telgenhof

She was born on May 28, 1929, in Wyoming Township, to Bernard and Jennie (Morren) Van Vels. After marriage and starting her family, she moved to the San Fernando Valley, CA area for many years, working for the Los Angeles Unified School District in Special Education. In 1994 she moved back to Holland.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Telgenhof and brother Louis Van Vels.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Pamela Telgenhof of Holland, Tamela (Keith) Tarleton of Zeeland; grandchildren, Brandon Tarleton, Kyle Tarleton, Jessica (Nathan) Coles; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm, Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street Holland, MI 49424.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, August 31, 2015, at Ridge Point Community Church (where she was a member), 340 104th Avenue, Holland, MI 49423, followed by a reception.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland, Resthaven at Home, or Ridge Point Community Church.
