Henry Wayne Siersma

He was a Veteran of the Korean War Serving in the Army and he was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Henry was a lifelong member of the North Holland Reformed Church. As a farmer, he spent his life working the land and he also worked for the Ottawa County Road Commission, for 25 years.

Henry is preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Staat (2006); sons in law Vernon Staat (2004) and Bruce Van Kampen (2006); and a granddaughter Jennifer Siersma (2001).

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Gloria; children, Linda Van Kampen of Borculo, Wayne and Karen Siersma of Holland, Mary Jo and Brad Lambrix of Shelby, MI, Pete and Rhonda Siersma of West Olive, Bill and Jackie Siersma of Zeeland; 8 Grandchildren; 8 Great grandchildren; and Gloria’s brothers and sisters, Louise Van Slooten of West Olive, Donald and Marlene Veele of Holland, Adrian Jr. and Harriet Veele of Holland.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 1, 2015, at North Holland Reformed Church, 12050 New Holland Street, Holland. Pastor Steven DeVries will officiate. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland.
