knew Hersh, you knew his unique, infectious, and extremely loud laugh.
That laugh is now being heard in Heaven.
Hersh was good at building things. He built homes as a very young
man and while attending college. After graduating from Calvin College
and with a Master’s degree from Michigan State, he built up young people
as the director of Wedgewood Acres and later as a school social worker.
He went on to build commercial, industrial, and residential properties
that he owned and managed until his death.
The most important thing he built however, was his family. He is
Survived by his wife Glady; children, Scott and Shelley, Chad and Julie,
Lance and Nicole; grandchildren, Brad, Shawn, Luke and Eunice,
Connor, Cameron, Drew, Stella, and Elise.
Hersh, along with his fantastic laugh, will be greatly missed.
A private family celebration will be held in his memory at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Schools.
