Jean was born in Chicago August 6, 1923 to George and Marie (Kyle) Malcheff. She married George Bauer Sr. in 1947. He preceded her in death in 2010 after 63 years of marriage.
She is survived by her son George E. (Kathleen) Bauer Jr.; grandchildren Benjamin (Jennifer) Bauer and Sarah (Adam) Ver Beek; 2 great grandchildren Eli and Ari Ver Beek; a brother George (Barbara) Malcheff; many extended family and friends.
No services are planned at this time.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
