John was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved tinkering around the house, music, and a cold Busch beer. He worked for Holland Ingredient.
Left to celebrate his life are his Fiance’ Janet Amsbary; a daughter Amanda and Vince Geldersma and her family, Victoria and Colton Cleveringa (Valerie and Leon), and Chase Haasjes; son Derek and Sara Hyma and his family, Dalton, Ryleigh, and Jaxson; siblings, Dolores and John Maurice, Deborah and Tom Peoples, Deneva and Mike Brouwer, Brian Hyma, and Larry Hyma; many extended family and friends.
A gathering time and visitation to celebrate John’s life will be from 3-5:00pm Friday, January 27, 2017 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
A brief Military Service will take place at 5:00pm Friday at the conclusion of visitation.
