Laverne “Vern” Barkel, 88, of Holland, Michigan passed away on April 19, 2020. His wife Marjorie “Marge” Barkel, of Holland, Michigan passed away on December 13, 2024 at age 89.
A memorial celebration of Vern and Marge's life will be at 11:00am on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at First Reformed Church, 630 State St., Holland.
Visitation will be at 10:00am prior to the service on Saturday at church, with a fellowship gathering time also following the service.
