Mae Agnes Aubert

Mae was born on July 17th, 1923, to Joseph and Agnes Hilvert of Norwood, OH. Later in life Mae met and married the love of her life, Joseph Aubert. They spent 71 wonderful years together. She was a devoted wife and mother as they raised their 5 children. Mae loved the Lord, and was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Holland. When Mae was not devoting her life to her Lord and family, she volunteered at Holland Hospital for many years. Mae and her husband loved to travel and did so often. She loved her family with all of her heart. Mae will be deeply missed by all.

Mae was preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph N. Aubert; infant daughter, Judy; daughter-in-law, Barbara Aubert; and parents, Joseph and Agnes Hilvert.

Mae is survived by: her children, Lawrence Aubert of Cincinnati, OH, Dennis (Mary) Aubert of De Tour Village, MI, JoAnne (Robert) Zuverink of Davenport, FL, James (Marlene) Aubert of Edgewood, NM, and Steve (Wendy) Aubert of Holland, MI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the Appledorn staff for the loving care they gave to Mae during her stay.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 5th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 480 152nd Ave, Holland, MI 49424. A funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, officiated by Father Michael. There will be a luncheon at 12:00 pm following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Holland.
