He was a beloved Uncle, devoted son and brother and collector of lifelong friends.
An adventurous soul.
Growing up in Holland Michigan, he began making friends from the start. Fiercely intelligent and witty with a wonderful sense of humor. He was involved early on in sports and hobbies that would last a lifetime. After proudly serving his country in the Navy he pursued and attained a degree at College of the Redwoods in Arcata CA. The skills he acquired there fueled a lifelong passion to build and create custom homes.
He traveled, working for the National Parks Forest Service. A love of nature and the outdoors was always to play a huge role in his life. Hiking and fishing, camping and surfing. Cycling and sailing. Skiing both on the water and down the mountains. Sailing became a huge passion. His boat the “Dividend” was his pride and joy.
He loved to laugh, and did that quite often. A dedicated music lover particularly the blues. An avid collector and classic car enthusiast with a particular fondness for MG’s. His MG convertible was endless fun and road trips with friends as well as tinkering in the garage.
Always ready to lend a helping hand. Forever making jokes and telling stories. Watching football and spending time with family. Playing cards and visiting with friends. Attending every little league game to cheer proudly for his great nephew. Biking to the beach and Saugatuck was a particular favorite pastime.
A life well lived.
He will be greatly missed by his family and too many friends to count.
A celebration of life is planned on Saturday July 11 from 4pm to 7pm at the Feddick Family compound. All who loved him are encouraged to attend.
