Peggy Jane Nivison

Peggy graduated from Holland High School (1973). She also held degrees from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa (1981) and Grand Valley State University (1990). She was a member of Seven Hills Church in Holland, and a Lifetime Member of the DAV Auxiliary in Holland. Peggy loved The Detroit Tigers, an enthusiasm she shared with her Dad, which they now enjoy in Heaven. She had several pen pals, enjoyed reading Christian fiction, and her pet hedgehog, Hedgie, and pet mouse, ChiChi.

Peggy is survived by her son Benjamin Nivison of Ohio, Mother Edith Nivison of Holland, sister Judith Smith (Jymm) of Holland, brother Kevin Nivison (Shirley) of Plymouth, MN, and sister Patti Snellink (Tom) of Walker, MI. She also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and one great nephew. Her Dad, Charles Nivison, preceded her in death, as well as her grandparents. Peggy had a special sister Sandy Smith of Grand Haven, MI, and her Sister in Christ Louise Lousma, who faithfully attended church with Peggy.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services on Thursday, August 11 at 1pm located at 11939 James Street, Holland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seven Hills Church or the DAV Auxiliary, Unit 14.
