Robert Lee Brown

Bob was born Nov. 23, 1944 in McBain to Malcolm and Sarah (Schepers) Brown. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and worked as an accountant for most of his life. He was a member of Lakeshore Vineyard Church. Later in is life, Bob fulfilled a lifelong dream of working in a funeral home when he joined Lakeshore Memorial Services, where he was a valuable member of the staff serving families. Bob will be remembered for his love of his dogs and someone who was a nice guy to everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Ellise and Samuel.

Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathleen Brown; a son, Peter (Andrea) Brown of Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Noah and Emma; a sister Mary Jo and Russel Kiefer of Holland; in-laws, Rev. Dr. Larry (Jane) Schuyler, Carole Vandenberg; and Jim (Sherry) Smith; many extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Lakeshore Vineyard Church, 710 Central Ave., Holland. Bob will be laid to rest this spring, Up North in Mount View Cemetery, McBain, an area Bob always cherished and wanted to move back to.

Visitation will be Friday, 1-3:00pm at Lakeshore Vineyard Church.
