Ruth Borgman

Ruth Borgman, age 73, passed away on April 2, 2023 at her home in Apache Junction, Arizona after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Ruth was born in Zeeland, MI, and graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1968.

Ruth worked at Thermotron Industries for 33 years as a secretary and executive assistant. She loved selling Avon to her co-workers and neighbors. She also enjoyed boating, horseback riding, and biking. After retirement, Ruth and her husband Steve spent their winters in Arizona before making the move permanent. Ruth will be fondly remembered as friendly, outgoing, and the life of the party wherever she went.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Jennie Roelofs; in-laws Russ and Dorothy Borgman; and brother Stan Roelofs.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 34 years, Steve; daughter Kim (Matt) Roberts; daughter Missy Widener and significant other Matt Busch; stepson Jade Borgman; and stepdaughter Jena Borgman. She is also survived by grandchildren Gwen, Holden, Audrey, Presley, Ethan, Tristan, Russell, Adrianna, and Parker; brother Gary (Joyce) Roelofs; sister-in-law Alysce Roelofs; in-laws Diane (Randy) Smith, and Craig (Rose) Borgman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services – 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424.
