Shirley is survived by: her husband of 59 years, Stewart Wassink; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Wassink; grandsons, Corey Wassink and Lance Wassink of Indiana; granddaughter, Sydney (David) Riksen of Hamilton; in-laws, Marilyn Wassink, Don (Lorna) Wassink, Sharon (Larry) Haverdink, Vern (Linda) Wassink, Hugh (Paula) Wassink, and Bob Wassink.
Shirley was preceded in death by: her son, Jeff Wassink; brother, Fred Lemley; in-laws, Dr. Jerome Wassink, Carl and Ruthie Wassink, Kathy Wassink, and Lila Lemley.
Shirley enjoyed knitting, her flower garden, making pies for family gatherings, and traveling with family.
She was a member of Hamilton Reformed Church. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
