Terry Lee Husted

Terry was a kind and generous man. He was an avid fisherman, woodworker, and a hard-working, dedicated family man, who was always willing to lend a hand or help in any way he could. There was no fish to small or lie too big for him. He worked most of his life as a truck driver. Family was very important to Terry, and his grandchildren brought a particular joy and smile to his face.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Husted.

He is survived by his wife Ruth of 52 years; children, Sue (John) Watson, Deborah (Steve) Hahn, Thomas (Cari) Husted, Dave (Alison) Husted; Mother, Marian C. Husted; Grandchildren, Alexandria L. Hahn, Audrey Watson, Jack Watson, Isabel Husted, and Samuel Husted. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

A memorial time to celebrate Terry’s life will be 2:00pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Rev. David Blauw will officiate.

For donations, please consider bringing your old fishing rods and reels to the funeral home for the family to donate to a worth-while organization. Donations may also be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.

The family wanted to express special thanks to the staff at Holland Hospital I.C.U. for their great care.
