Thomas Jay Fitzgerald

Tom was born May 14, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI to Thomas and Leola (McCarthy) Fitzgerald. He worked as a journeyman in the Tool and Die industry, and attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Grace Fitzgerald in 2018; his daughter Laura Fitzgerald; and grandson Collin Eriksson.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Gina (Leif) Eriksson, Nancy Fitzgerald, Thomas (Mechelle) Fitzgerald, and Joseph Fitzgerald; his 10 grandchildren, Alyssa (Nicholas) Mader, Kyle Eriksson, Kirsten Eriksson, Lance Eriksson, Jordan Conger, Lauren Conger, Thomas Fitzgerald, Joseph Fitzgerald, Michael Fitzgerald, and David Fitzgerald; in-laws Don Wieland, Pat Zwiers, and Ann Crivello; Many extended family and friends.

There will be visitation from 10-11am, Saturday, March 26, 2022, followed by a memorial mass to celebrate Tom’s life at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church 480 152nd Ave., Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
