Wanda Atman

Born April 6, 1924, she was a daughter and one of nine children to John and Wanda Jarmuloski in Grand Rapids, MI. Wanda was always so proud of her mother who raised all nine children on her own after the passing of Wanda’s father at an early age. Wanda and Gene raised their own four beloved children in Saugatuck, MI, where they owned and operated the Shangri-La Motel for many years before moving to Holland.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Gene Atman, son Robert Atman, and daughter Nancy Atman. Also by brother Bert, sisters Val White, Phyllis Kort, Helen Eaton, and Florence Rendell.

Surviving are her sons Jim and Linda Atman, and Bill and Kris Atman; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Ted, Chuck, and Joe. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 21st, from 1-3 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St, Holland, MI. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Holland. Please visit www.lakeshorememorial.com to leave a message or memory for the Atman family.
