Adelphia May McGathen, 90, of Fort Lauderdale passed away August 21, 2012 at Holly Cross Hospital peacefully joining her son Roderick McGathen Jr. Born May 4, 1922 is survived by her loving husband Roderick McGathen, 94, and children Susan Simone, Jo-Ellen Chapman, Tom McGathen, and Greg McGathen and grandchildren Kelly McFadden, Amy Chapman, Jonathan Chapman, Justin McGathen and Stefanie Block as well as six great grand children. Service will be held Sunday August 26, 2012 from 1:15 to 2pm closed for family
