Alan was born in Newark, New Jersey to Paul and Miriam Beatty on November 28, 1944. He went to school at North Miami Senior High School. He met and married the love of his life, Patricia Beatty, spending 56 years together before her passing in 2020. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam war, proudly serving his country in the Army.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Miriam, his brother Jack and his sisters Carol and Janice. Alan is survived by his daughter Colleen Eckert and her husband Craig, and his granddaughters Sydney and Alexia.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 10AM February 28, 2025 at Fred Hunters in Hollywood.
