I'm so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is heartbreaking to say the least. The bible reassures us at Psalms 34:18 that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. "

When the enemy death strikes your grief can be great. It's never the right time to say goodbye to a loved one. Death too to many seems to be a part of life. It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9, 10 ~ "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth". Only God's (Psalms 83:18) Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life.

Uncle Allen you were such a shining bright light in my life. I remember as a little girl how you would always make the best dinners for our family get togethers. You had such a HUGE heart and gentle spirit about you . No one ever went without. The times we spent in the Keys were priceless and although only the memories now live, it will always be one of the best chapters in my life and that is because you made it special. I remember Valerie and I wanting to go up to Tom Thumb in Key Largo and you always had that wad of cash you would share in a heartbeat. I always thought you were one of the richest men on earth--and you were rich inside and out. Your wife and children loved you so much! Kevin is going to do fine. Kevin idolized you and gave you the best care any parent could ask for. He told me just last week that you are his best friend and that he is going to miss you tremendously. I assured him you will be together again someday and he was comforted by that. I am so proud of him and the great care he gave you. Uncle, you are now in heaven in the arms of Jesus, your mom, dad and brother. You are missed here. May you rest in eternal peace until we all meet again. Love you!!

I love you Uncle Allen, I always will. You were never anything but kind and gentle to me. You showed me how a Father is suppose to love and protect his family. From the very first time to the very last time, you always had your arms stretched out for a hug. Rest in Peace!
