December 31, 1929 - February 7, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne (Annie) Marie Cerione on February 7, 2022 at the age of 92. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born in Vineland, NJ on December 31, 1929 as Anna Marie DeLuca. She married the love of her life Frank A. Cerione on October 31, 1954. She then moved together with her husband and children to Miami, Fl in 1962. Although she was sad to leave her many relatives and friends behind, she soon embraced beautiful South Florida to raise her growing family. She was a loving and caring stay at home mom for many years. She then embarked on a secretarial career at Alert Lear Pest Control Co. and from there went on to a successful career in real estate. She was very bright and creative and loved anything to do with arts and crafts. She learned to play the piano by ear and could play almost any tune just by listening to it. She enjoyed playing bingo and the slot machines. She was also an excellent dancer and cook. Mama Cerione’s meatballs and sauce were her family and friends favorite. But her greatest love was that of her family. Family was everything to her and Sunday family get-togethers were a tradition. She was kind and thoughtful and always there to lend a helping hand of support and encouragement. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. She firmly believed in “Faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is LOVE”. She had a good, long life and we were all so blessed to have her in our lives for so many years. She will be deeply missed. May God bless her and keep her and grant her soul everlasting peace.
Anne is predeceased by her husband Frank A. Cerione and son Daniel Cerione, her parents, Mario and Anna (Casella) DeLuca, her sister, Mary Zorzi and her brother, Antonio DeLuca. She is survived by her brother Vincent DeLuca, sister Antoinette Barsotti, sons Joseph and Frank and daughter Carol and 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, David, Nicholas, Michael, Matthew, Erin, Kyle, Tyler and Ashley and 10 great grandchildren.
