Beverly Jane Allen

Beverly Jane Allen, 87 of Jupiter, Florida passed away on May 17,2017 at her home surrounded by her loving children Steven, Robert and Robin and her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Mary and Elizabeth and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Beverly was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on June 8, 1929 and was married to her loving partner in life, Philip Norman Allen for 57 years who predeceased her in 2007. She was an avid golfer, loved to cook and of course, experience the joys of eating. Always with a keen mind, Beverly completed daily crossword puzzles with authority. Knowledge was a worthy opponent, and she loved to be challenged, as Jeopardy, Millionaire game shows and TV detective series were favorites. She looked forward to spending time with friends playing cards and attending the theater. Traveling also provided opportunities for her to embrace cultures and people. Spain was her favorite, especially alongside her devoted husband. Needlepoint was a joyful and creative hobby she also shared with Philip. She was mindful and deliberate with her passions, and possessed a sassy sense of humor! Our mother was proud of her children and grandchildren the most, they were her greatest accomplishments. She loved us all more than we will ever know and she will be deeply missed.
