Born in Erie, Pennsylvania on December 16, 1943, daughter of Marion and Beatrice (Mayfield) Kerr. Raised and educated in Arcade, New York, graduating from Arcade Central High School, class of 1962. Beverly continued her education at The State University of New York at Fredonia, New York.
Beverly raised her family with love and compassion, always helping and supporting her family through challenging life events. Beverly was a teacher, advisor, confidant, and most importantly, a best friend to her three loving daughters. During her time as a stay-at-home mother, Beverly was not afraid to take on part-time jobs, teach piano, volunteer activities, and donate her time playing piano for her church. There was nothing Beverly would not do to bring joy and happiness to friends, family, and complete strangers.
In 1984, Beverly relocated to South Florida. During this time she worked in the airline industry: Eastern Airlines and then Custom Air, from where she retired. Up until her passing, Beverly especially enjoyed, music, the beach, and celebrating with family and friends. Wherever Beverly was, fun was in the air. She would have it no other way.
For the past 5 ½ years Beverly fought a battle with cancer like a true warrior, never complaining, trying anything and everything to restore her once strong body and mind. The battle she fought and the resilience she displayed will be an inspiration never to be forgotten.
Survived by three loving children, Cheryl Filliater, Kristin Graham, and Kelly Davis, sons-in-law Kevin Filliater and Robbie Graham, her companion of 30 years, Jim Wells, her adored grandchildren, Kasey and Andrew Filliater and Kaley Shields, sister, Rebecca Kerr and her former husband Parke "Bud" Davis.
