Bishop Hugh C. Thomas

Bishop Hugh C. Thomas, 77, of Weston Florida, passed away on February 24th, 2021. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Abundant Living Ministries in Pembroke Pines, Florida, the church that he founded and pastored for 40 years. Pastor Thaddeus C. Thomas of (Abundant Living Ministries in Pembroke Pines, Florida will officiate. Hugh was born in Durham, North Carolina on December 20, 1943. He graduated from Mt. Olive High School and continued on to receive a Bachelors of Science at Southwestern College of Christian Ministries from Bethany, Oklahoma and a Honorary Doctor of Divinity from International Bible Institute and Theological Seminary in Desoto, Missouri. Hugh was married to Diane on March 22, 1963; they were married 57 years. Hugh Pastored Abundant Living Ministries for over 40 years. Hugh was passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and spending time in the Word and prayer. He was actively involved with Association of International Gospel Assemblies, Inc. was also formerly involved in International of Faith Ministries, Inc and the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Inc. Hugh is survived by (Spouse) Pastor Diane Jermyn, Children: Pastor Lisa Thomas-Albin and Pastor Thaddeus C. Thomas, Grandchildren:  Brittney Albin-Rodriguez, Elisha Thomas-Gonzalez, Arielle Thomas, Olivia Thomas, Melissa Aleman, and Joseph Aleman, Great grandchildren: Isaiah, Mariah, Brielle, Gian, Noah and Abigail, Brothers:  Pastor Rick W. Thomas, Nieces and nephews Eric, Scott, Heather, Sean and Evan Thomas, Hugh is preceded in death by Pastors W.W. Thomas and Edith Thomas (parents) and George Eric Thomas (Brother). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Abundant Living Ministries, Inc. The family of Hugh wishes to thank all of our ALM families and all our church friends.
