Bridget Foley (Roach) Wilson, 72, passed away on August 31, 2022. Bridget is survived by her loving husband, Dale Wilson, her son Forrest Wilson, her daughter Hayley (Wilson) and son-in-law Andrew “AJ” Kirchoff, grandson Pike Kirchoff, and her cousins Martin Roach and Mary-Elizabeth Beth (Callahan) Byrnes. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Roach.
Bridget was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut before settling in south Florida. After she retired from Delta Airlines, she was an active member of her community, as a member of the GFWC Plantation Women’s Club and volunteer with the Friends of the West Regional Library. Her community involvement allowed her to share her passion of reading, especially murder mystery novels. During her life, Bridget enjoyed spending time with her family, including her two Jack Russell terriers, thunderstorms, traveling, and musical theater.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2 pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home with a reception to follow at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and American Stroke Association are appreciated.
