Carey Milani Herrington, 54, of Davie, FL, passed away Dec. 18, 2016, at her home, surrounded by those who loved her. She was born June 12, 1962, in Highland Park, IL, the daughter of Robert and Sandra (Bernardi) Milani.
Carey moved to south Florida in 1977, and graduated from the University of Florida in 1986. She worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for Pediatric Therapy Associates.
Carey is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jim; children, Jenna and Tyler; mother, Sandra Milani; sister, Mary Pearce (Doug); brother, Robert Milani (Carolyn); grandmother, Virginia Bernardi; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Milani.
Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, 2401 S. University Dr., Davie. The funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at St. David Catholic Church, 3900 S. University Dr., Davie.
