

Carl Anthony Bryan, a consummate comic, passed away suddenly on July 24,2023 at Majestic Memory Care Center, Hollywood, Florida. He was a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Carl was born to Carlos and Beryl Bryan on May 10,1941 in Jamaica, WI, and eventually where he earned an engineering degree at CAST. After completing his education, he worked for the Jamaica Public Service Company. He later migrated to the US Virgin Islands and then to the United States, where he settled in New York. It was in the “Big Apple” where he lived for many years, got married and had his three children: Bruce, Stacy and Paul.
He worked with Bell South, AT&T, New York, until his retirement to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he enjoyed spending this time with his dogs, birds and other miscellaneous animals. He loved animals and always had a trusty dog by his side. His greatest hobby however, was his love of photography. He had so many pictures and had a passion for taking them. During his spare time he played music, DJ’ed and volunteered with his church. He also had a love of sports. Particularly, Track and Field, in which he was a record holder at his high school in the 800 meter dash. His record stood for 27 years. He also loved tennis, and enjoyed playing the sport. He spent his spare time watching wrestling, soccer, boxing and every four years- The Olympics.
Carl leaves behind his mother, Beryl Bryan, his brothers Deryck Bryan and Fred Bryan, his children, Bruce Bryan, Stacy Stanley (Lorenzo), Paul Bryan (Adam) his grandchildren, Sophia Stanley, Evan Stanley, Jeremiah Bryan, and Jordan Bryan and his nieces and nephews and grandnephew.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00AM on August 12, 2023 at the chapel of Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Fl 33024.
