

Carla was born at Kings County Hospital, in Brooklyn, New York, to Judith Salomon Sergile and Reginald Sergile on December 16, 1977. She married Michael Jordan on February 22, 1997, and the union produced a beautiful daughter, Sarai Jordan. She attended Broward College for two years followed by a two-year Paralegal program from an accredited organization. She then obtained a CLA Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), followed by the CP advanced certification designation from the Florida Bar. Carla worked as a Title Closer/Paralegal for Florida Title for over a decade where she enjoyed a great working relationship with her employer and co-workers.
Carla was a kind, selfless soul with a big heart and an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep positive way. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother who genuinely appreciated and loved her family and friends.
Carla is survived by her first spouse Michael Jordan, her daughter Sarai M. Jordan, her granddaughter Zailyn Brown, her brothers Reggie Sergile, Geraldy Sergile, Jimmy Sergile and Jeremiah Sergile, her current partner Jason Haliburton, her stepfather Ronald Jean, tons of cousins, aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, her parents Judith Salomon Darucaud and Reginald Sergile as well as her maternal grandmother Altagrace Andre.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 6, 2024, at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home with Judes Germain officiating.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, hospice organization, our minister/cousin Judes Germain, Poet Jeovani, Singer Gina Lasseur, family and numerous supportive friends who stepped in to lighten our load in our hour of need.
