Christina Tsombanakis was born in the town of Chania, in the island of Crete. She was born in 1941, and suffered from the numerous attacks on Crete during the second World War. In her late teens, she left Crete and arrived in Montreal, Canada. She married Emmanuel Tsombanakis and had one daughter Regina. She relocated one more time in the 80's to Hollywood Florida, where she happily lived until her death. She is survived by her daughter Regina, her son-in-law Max Walzer, her grandson, Emmanuel (Manny), her sister Anna Markantonakis in Montreal and her sister Maria Arapidhs in Athens. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, and loved to cook to and feed people. She brought many smiles to many people and will never be forgotten.
