Born in New York, New York on July 23, 1972, son of Elias and Maria Ofelia (Melendez) Colon. He and his family moved from New York to Pembroke Pines in 1987 and graduated from Miramar High School in 1991. At the time of his death, Daniel was a self employed electrician.
Survived by his beloved parents, Elias and Maria Ofelia (Melendez) Colon, Sr; sister Omarya (Adam) Schorr, brother, Elias Colon, Jr. two nephews, Adam and Daniel Schorr, cousins, Eric Melendez, Evelyn Esquerete and Javier Melendez and many other cousins aunts and uncles.
Visitation on Friday, August 24th from 2:00 ~ 3:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memoial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
