Deborah Joan Adams

Deborah was born in Harrisonburg, VA to William E. Adams and Ethel L. Adams on March 29, 1951.  She attended the Broward County school system. She graduated from Atlantic Coast Institute with a degree in Medical Transcription. She worked as a Manager for Winn-Dixie and was an Au Pair for several local families, which was her passion. She was involved in the local volunteer fire department, as well as her church. 

Deborah is preceded in death by her Father, William E. Adams of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Brother Gary L. Adams of Huntsville, AL.  

Deborah is survived by her 97 year old mother, Ethel L. Adams of Fort Lauderdale. Her sisters, Cynthia A. Martin of Carrabelle FL, and husband G. Michael Martin, Vicki A. Whitaker of Mills River NC, and husband Timothy M. Whitaker, Stephanie A. Sekaz of Horse Shoe, NC and husband Paul Sekaz, and brother’s wife Rebecca P. Adams of Huntsville, AL. Her nephews and nieces; Natalie R. Ezell, of Hendersonville, NC and husband Jon D. Ezell, Jaclyn W. Gordon of Zirconia, NC and husband Joshua Gordon, William M. Adams of Harvest, AL and wife Tonya R. Adams, Preston L. Adams of Huntsville, AL and wife Vicki L. Adams, Diana G. Martin of Brevard, NC and husband Scott L. Norton, Dustin Whitaker of Mills River, NC and wife Amanda S. Whitaker, Jennah R. Sekaz of Horse Shoe, NC, Caleb A. Sekaz of Horse Shoe, NC and their respective families.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be determined at a later date, and arrangements are being made by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
