Diana Ramsook

Diana Ramsook, 75, of Plantation passed away April 8, 2023, two and a half year after her beloved husband, Sace Ramsook. The funeral service will be held at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL on Friday, April 14th from 10AM to Noon.  Officiating Pundits will be Pundit Neil Persad and Pundit Telluckram Maharaj.

Born in Penal, Trinidad, Diana met the love of her life, Sace, when she was just a young girl. She pursued her education despite many financial hardships and followed her dreams to England to learn nursing. She then went on to become a beloved wife, mother, and pillar of the South Florida Hindu community. She selflessly gave her time and medical expertise to anyone in need. In addition to being a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was affectionately known as “Aunty Di” by many throughout the community that she served. She loved talking to and helping people, loved to travel, and fiercely loved her family.

Diana is survived by her devoted son Rajesh, daughter-in-law Meera, daughter Sharda, son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Julian Sace and Ashira, loving sister Sita Rambatchan Hardial, her nieces Asha, Usha, Geeta, Llyan.

Diana is preceded in death by her late husband, Sace Ramsook, her parents Rambatchan Baboolal and Phulmuth Boodoo and brother Ivan.
