Donald “Lee” Drake, age 61, of Hollywood, FL passed away on Friday July 8th, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lee was born to Donald and Virginia Drake in Miami Florida and lived his life in North Miami and Hollywood, FL. Lee was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Drake and sister Barbara Drake.
Lee was a family man and is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Drake, his father Donald Drake, sons Stephen Drake, Berto (Al) Rodriguez, daughter Keisha (Josh) Brutus, grandchildren Armani, Jaslene, Nalani, Xzavier, sister Donna Rusin (Bruce), niece Gina Faccone, nephew Gerard Faccone (Kim), many cousins and other relatives and his dog Spot!
Lee worked hard for the City of Dania for many years. He loved his family and many friends and enjoyed watching sports (especially The “U”), he was the king of BBQ, and loved driving his big truck!
The family will receive family friends from 12:30 - 2:30 pm, July 23rd, 2022 at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida. There will be a memorial and you are invited to stay for the repast following at the funeral home.
