Doris was born in Brooklyn, NY to Valentine and Sadie Hoenig on August 13, 1932. She married John P. Gorman on February 13, 1965 in Queens, NY.
Doris is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Gorman and loving daughter Doreen Sorrentino.
Doris is survived by sons John Cummings, Glenn Cummings, Daniel Gorman and daughter Brenda Nieves. Grandchildren Janeen, Brian, Stacy, Russell, Jonathan, Dana, Nicole, Danielle and Jeffrey. Great Grandchildren Rosanne, Samantha, William, Jade, Bryce, Adam, Ian, Jason and Amber.
A viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Funeral Home. Mass will be held at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church 7450 Stirling Rd, Davie on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
