Earl Wesley Johnston Jr.

In January of 1981, Earl married the love of his life, Lynne April McConnell. Together, they built a beautiful family and life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. He was a proud father to April (Steven), Jamie (Jonathan), and Casey. Earl was also a cherished grandfather to Kael, Katelyn, Dillon, Saphirra, and Wesley, who were the light of his life.

Earl was a hard-working man who dedicated 38 years to his craft as the owner of Earl W. Johnston Roofing. More than just a successful business owner, he was a mentor, leader, and a trusted pillar of the community. His integrity, generosity, and commitment to helping others left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Beyond his work, Earl loved the outdoors and found peace in fishing and boating. He was also an avid sports fan who could always be found cheering for his Miami Dolphins and Florida Panthers.

Earl’s legacy lives on in the family he deeply loved the business he built with pride, and the countless lives he touched through his friendship, kindness, and service.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.
