Eleanor P. Hyrne

Eleanor Grace Hyrne, 94 years old, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019. She was born in Cedar Creek, North Carolina to Charles Ransom Pope and Sallie Erasmus Pope on November 19, 1924.

She married Frederick Clarke Hyrne on March 22, 1946 in Miami, Florida. She worked as a registered nurse in Miami, Florida in her early years of marriage before retiring to raise her family. She re-entered the workforce to serve as the school nurse at Northwest Christian Academy in the 1970s. She was a dedicated member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Hollywood, Florida.

Eleanor Grace Hyrne is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Clarke Hyrne.

She is survived by daughter Sally Zimmerman and her husband Carl Zimmerman, son Michael Hyrne and his wife Debbie Hyrne, daughter Sue Kranz and her husband Jerry Kranz, grandson Michael Zimmerman and his wife Amber Zimmerman, grandson Andrew Zimmerman, grandson Joel Zimmerman, granddaughter Anna Kellam and her husband Kyle Kellam, grandson Clarke Hyrne, grandson Matthew Hyrne, granddaughter Sydney Kranz, granddaughter Tova Kranz, and great granddaughter Margot Kellam.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Park Road Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, Florida on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 7:15 PM. Instead of flowers please make donations to the St. Andrews Park Road Presbyterian Church.
