

Born in Clifton, New Jersey on November 22, 1929, one of nine children born to Leonardo and Elizabeth (Sgro) Patti. Raised in Clifton until the age of 19, then he met and married Louise Michaelsen in 1948. In 1959, they moved to Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson) New Jersey, where they lived for a number of years before moving to Dania Beach in December of 1984.
Before his retirement, Mr. Patti worked as a Tool and Die maker for Jet Avion in Hollywood for many years. He enjoyed swimming, walks on the beach, working in the garden and spending time with family. He was a man of strong Christian faith who loved God and his family. He also had an amazing aptitude and an incredible patience for fixing things.
Emanuel is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Louise (Michaelsen), and was a loving father to his three children--Joan (Capizzano), Janet (Banghart), and Gary, as well as a daughter-in-law Maria and two sons-in-law, John Capizzano (deceased) and Edward Banghart. He also is survived by 8 grandchildren--John Capizzano III, Joel Capizzano, Jamie Capizzano, Jason Capizzano, Patti Gottesman, Nancy Swanson, Lori Drew and Steven Banghart and their spouses. Emmanuel is also survived by 8 beautiful great grandchildren.
Survived by five siblings, Rose Van Ostenbridge, Marie Dekker, John Patti, Betty Figlar and Daniel Patti. He was preceded in death by his siblings Olive Milowic, Leonardo and Charles, as well as his son-in-law, John Capizzano, Jr, and his infant daughter, Joyce Patti (Janet's twin sister).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 9:30 A.M. ~ 12:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Immediately following the visitation, the funeral service will commence at 12:00 P.M. His son-in-law, Pastor Edward Banghart will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.
