Tina, as friends and family knew her, was born in Moron, Cuba, on March 22, 1923 where she was raised and educated. She, her husband Antonio and son Juan emigrated to South Florida in 1959 where she resided for the rest of her life.
Tina was married to Antonio Collada on May 20, 1951; they were married 56 years.
Tina worked as a seamstress for Neiman Marcus for 21 years. She enjoyed sewing, playing dominoes and spending time with family and friends. All who knew her appreciated her sense of humor and desire to make people laugh with constant jokes (not all could be told in church). She was a genuinely warm and loving person who welcomed everyone to her home. She particularly loved entertaining friends and family and spent much of the time interacting with their children. Not only did she love making children smile, she was an animal lover, which was evident in the care and love she lavished on her cat named Boots.
Tina is survived by her son, Juan Collada, stepdaughters Nury and Mirta Collada, grandson, Michael Collada, and numerous grandchildren and other family and friends.
Tina is preceded in death by husband, Antonio Collada, brothers, Yamil and Marino Saba and other family members.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
