Frantz "Mr. Fantastic" Michaud

Emmanuel Frantz Michaud peacefully passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on December 25, 1957, in Port-au-Prince, Frantz lived a life marked by love, dedication, kindness, and service to others.

Frantz was a proud and hardworking customer service agent in the airline industry, where he devoted many years assisting travelers with compassion and professionalism. He earned his Associate’s Degree and carried himself with dignity, determination, and a strong sense of responsibility throughout his life and career.

Above all, Frantz was a loving husband, devoted father, caring brother, and cherished friend. He found joy in music, traveling, and cheering on his beloved Miami Dolphins. His warm smile, generous spirit, and sense of humor touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Affectionately known by many as “Mr. Fantastic,” Frantz earned the nickname because of his radiant smile and his signature response whenever anyone asked how he was doing — “Fantastic!” His positive spirit and uplifting presence brought joy and comfort to so many throughout his life.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Michelle Hyacinthe Michaud; his loving son, Jean-Michel Michaud; his sisters, Marise Coriolan and Eliane Augustin; and his brother, Marc Henry Michaud.

He is also survived by his sisters-in-law: Elsie Bouchette, Elizabeth Gilbert, Beatrice Rousseau, Francoise Hyacinthe, Michelle Hyacinthe, and Murielle Hyacinthe; and his brothers-in-law: Jacques Coriolan, Frantz Hyacinthe, Jean-Robert Hyacinthe, Adrian Hyacinthe, Herve Remarais, and Owen Rousseau.

Frantz additionally leaves behind many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family members, co-workers, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Though Frantz has departed this earthly life, his love, kindness, and legacy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
