Gabriel David Johnson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Gabriel David Johnson, on February 6th, 2025, who left this world far too soon at the age of 21. Gabriel was a radiant soul—full of love, energy, and brilliance. His presence was magnetic, his kindness boundless, and his talents endless. Gabriel had a natural gift for anything he set his mind to. He was a shining example of determination, passion, and heart.

More than anything, Gabriel was a devoted son, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. He showed us what unconditional love truly meant, and in return, he was adored beyond measure. His daily calls, his stubborn yet endearing ways, and his unwavering spirit will be deeply missed. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his love will remain with us forever.

Gabriel is survived by his loving mother, Careen, his grandmothers Grace & Vivienne, his father David, grandfather David Sr., and his stepfather Chad. He was a beloved brother to Ijhanna, Jacob, Satir, Noah, Malaki, Aiden, Madilyn and Myles, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. He also leaves behind countless friends and family members whose lives he touched in profound ways.

Rest in peace, our beloved Gabriel. You will always be loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.

A visitation will occur on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida, 33024.

A last glance will be held at Riverside Church from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

A service to honor and celebrate Gabriel’s life will be held 11:30am on February 21st at 955 S.W. 71st Ave. North Lauderdale, FL 33068. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering the incredible person he was.

A graveside service will occur Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens East, Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024.

After graveside service Repast will be held at Faith United Church of Christ 6201 NW 57th St, Tamarac, FL 33319 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
