Jensen, George David 67, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away December 10, 2011. Mr. Jensen practiced law in Ft. Lauderdale from the late 1970's. He was admitted to the Florida, District of Columbia and Virginia bars, and had started his career in Virginia and before the Supreme Court of the United States. His Florida practice consisted basically of family law and bankruptcies and he devoted much of it to serving the South Florida GLBT community. George David was an avid boater, pilot and amateur photographer. His other hobbies included his dogs and he was a member of Shetland Sheep Dog Club of SE Florida for many years. He is survived by his trusted companion Paul Zaryczny, his aunt Irene Hansen of Harlan, IA., several cousins and extended family and friends. A visitation will be held from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, Monday, December 19, 2011 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 333 Tarpon Drive, Ft. Lauderdale, where a funeral service will begin at 3:30 pm.
