Gerald Saintil

Born in Port Margot, Haiti on June 26, 1954, son of Genevois and Gloria (Alcinor) Saintil. Mr. Saintil earned both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Law from the Universite Publique De L'Artibonite Aux Gonaives in Haiti. He and his family migrated to the United States in 1979 settling in Miami.

His first position was a Room Service Manager at the Biltmore and Mayfair Hotels in Miami. A business entrepreneur, Gerald opened his own businesses, owning and operating Liberte Immigration Services and Income Tax Services in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. He also owned a men's hair salon called Liberte Cuts in Miami.

Survived by his beloved wife of 27 years Marie (Dorange) Saintil, whom he married on July 12, 1987. Also survived by his loving children, Myriam Saintil, Jonathan Gerald Saintil, grandson, "the love of his life" Sebastian Gatlin, one brother, Rony Saintil, two sisters, Claudine and Anne Saintil, nephews, Fritz Gerald Heyliger and Stanley Heyliger and nieces Natacha Heyliger, Chantal Heyliger, cousins, mother in law, Madame Philocles Dorange, brother in laws, Witlo Dorange and Laurenthes Dorange, sister in laws, Anatalia Dorange Escarment and Ismaelita Dorange.

Visitation on Friday, January 2nd from 5:00 ~ 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. A Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 3rd at 9:00 A.M. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 8005 Miramar Parkway, Miramar. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
