“ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen Anne Cantrell, 81, on June 10th, 2023 after a short but brave battle with leukemia. Surrounded by family in her final days, we find comfort in knowing that she will lovingly protect and watch over those close to her for eternity.
Born to parents Nick and Florence Nicoloff in Dearborn Michigan on August 3rd, 1941, she is survived by her husband Bill, children Scott (Patricia), Steve (Alicia), & Mark, grandchildren Taylor, Madison, Carson, & Bella, brother John and sister Debby.
She was exceptionally supportive and devout to her family and will live on through the memories we have and the stories we will continue to tell, though she will be deeply missed by her surviving family and those that knew her well. Forever remembered as a loving wife, caring sister and wonderful mother/grandmother, we will find strength in her reminder to not “cry because it is over, but smile because it happened.”
A celebration of life will be held at Fred Hunter at 3pm on the the 22nd of June, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale for those that wish to join Helen’s family in her remembrance.”
