Helen J. Gardner was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to John Dogul and Josephine Malisewska on July 10, 1921. She went to school in Oakham, Massachusetts. She married her deceased husband, William B. Fisher, in Tokyo, Japan in 1947. She later married Richard E. Gardner of West Boylston, Ma. in 1958. She graduated from Becker College. As a young woman she was employed by the United States Government and attended the War Trials in Tokyo, Japan. She was involved in many civic organizations.
Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard E. Gardner; her children, Linda Fisher, Douglas Fisher (Carla Fisher), Doreen Goodwin (Marty Goodwin); her three grand children, Rachael Goodwin, Blayne Fisher and Caitlyn Fisher.
