Born in Langley, England on April 6, 1930, daughter of Robert and Kitty (Green) Archer. Raised and educated in Brize Norton, England. She met and married Basil Crawford and moved to Washington, D.C. in 1954. They later moved to Forest Heights, Maryland and then to Accokeek, Maryland where she worked more than 30 years for the School System in Prince George's County. Following her retirement, Ivy moved to South Florida to be closer to her family.
Ivy enjoyed traveling with friends, shopping, ceramics and cake baking.
Survived by her children, Teresa Gonzalez of North Lauderdale, Florida, Myron R. (Marci) Crawford of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Sharon (Rick) Bailey of Frostburg, Maryland; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Charlie, Nicki, Tara, Ryan and Malia; and three great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Coral and Camden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Basil Crawford in 2009.
