James Thomas Salas age 70 of Margate, Florida passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center. James was born September 2, 1947 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Julio Fabian and Luz Maria " Borrero" Salas. His passion for pigeons started at a young age and spanned over his life . This love for the small bird symbolized his key characteristics of being a loving and kind soul. James is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Julie "Martinez" Salas; daughter, Jacqueline Salas Velez (Carlos) of Margate, Florida; sisters, Lillian S. Toth of Copper City, Florida, America Salas of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Luz Elena Perez of Miami, Florida; brothers, Anthony Salas of Miami Gardens, Florida and Julio Salas of Pembroke Pines, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
