James Richard Stout was known by many as Jay, Jaybird, or Dad; but is now known better as the angel that God took away from us too soon. James left us on Wednesday, November 18th 2015 with his son and loving greyhound companion Joy by his side after an unrelenting battle with cancer. He was 59 years of age.
James was born on September 15th, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to parents James H. Stout & M. Jean Stout and attended Brownsburg High School in Indiana and graduated from the class of 1974. He attended Vincennes University and served in the United States Air Force (1980-1987) as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. James had one son (James R Stout II) and fathered three stepchildren (Ryan, Rachel, and Kirsten Vaughan). He was also a foster parent to many rescued greyhounds and was most recently employed by Ryko Solutions Inc. as a Field Service Technician.
James is preceded in death by Terry R Stout (Brother) and James H Stout (Father), but in spirit lives through the rest of his loving family, James R Stout II (Son), Carol A Stout (Sister), M. Jean Stout (Mother) and extended family, Rick & Diane Cooper, Adam Cooper, Ross Cooper, Dean & Laurie Stout, Billy White, Devin Stout, and Barak & Heather Stout.
Arrangements have been made for a Celebration of Life at the White River Yacht Club in Indianapolis, IN on November 29th, 2015 from 4pm until 7pm. All coworkers, acquaintances, friends, and family are welcome. This will be a semi-formal event as he specified before passing that he wanted everyone to be comfortable. Anyone who would like to bring a picture and/or rose for the table of memories may do so. Donations may be given via https://www.gofundme.com/JayCare
