Janice was born in Uleta, Florida to Robert and Lucille Wilburn on October 26, 1935. She went to school at Edison High school. She married Allan McCumber on February 14, 1953 in Miami. She was a dedicated homemaker and later managed Wilburns Jewelry and Silver in Dania.
Janice is preceded in death by Allan McCumber, husband of 47 years, sister Myrna Reaves, brother Robert D Wilburn, and grandson James.
Janice is survived by sons Russell (Donna) and Thomas, brother Floyd Wilburn, grandchildren Jill, Jeffrey, Justin, and Russell, great grandchildren Jaelin, Sage, and Clay.
