James "Jim" Roath, 61, of Sunrise, FL passed away on April 24, 2018. Born in Miami to James and Elizabeth Roath, he was one of three children. Jim's career was in real estate but his heart belonged to music. He loved being in the recording studio making music or in the local bars performing. If he was listening to music, it was most likely AC/DC. He was incredibly intelligent and could converse on any topic. Jim was also a very kind and compassionate man.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lee Warren; siblings, Janet (Ray) Rodriguez and Alan (Gladys) Roath; and nieces and nephews, Alex, Elizabeth, Christopher, and Jennifer.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Immediately following a reception will be held in the Ken Loomis Community Center within Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.
